Re: W24bb?

According to the application from yesterday, they've been supposidly opperating at half power since they came back. If they're actually telling the truth this time, I can't wait to see how good they look at full power if they finish in 30 days like they claim to.

Re: W24bb?

I hope so too, I was able to pick up the signal still clear while at the Delaware River all the way in Water Gap (shadowed by mountains) on the analog tv function of my phone. Also when I commented their facebook page saying I was glad to see them back in channel 24, they commented back saying they'll be at full power also. Let's hope for the best!

Re: W24bb?

They're back on air, but I don't think it's full power.

Re: W24bb?

Apparently they're still working to install the equipment at the transmitter. They said it will probably be done within 30 days. I didn't have OTA 4 years ago when ch. 24 was at it fullest before it went off, was it better than how it is now?

Re: W24bb?

When I first moved here in 2004 we were able to get it on the TV downstairs with a very cheap wired FM antenna that looks like a 300 ohm wire that's covered in clear plastic. I think that was when it was at it's fullest. It went off about a year later, and when it came back the picture looked like you were watching HBO with a filter applied before scrambling became the norm, where you can hear the audio and see the picture sometimes but it was heavily covered up with snow and losing the picture sync.

Currently it's somewhere in between those two.

Re: W24bb?

I'm told it's at full power now, do you see a difference? I don't see much a difference, but it may just be my location.

Re: W24bb?

I see a slight difference, before I was losing the color on the picture a lot, now I'm getting it solid.
